I checked the Vons Facebook page for a Word of the Day freebie and there was none. In fact, they have gone back and removed all of their previous posts regarding the Word of the Day. Last week, could have been the last Word of the Day freebie but who knows?

Ok, I could’ve sworn I got a push notification about a free Chobani creamer today. Now here is the weird thing. Going to Pavillions Twitter, the initial tweet about the creamer is gone. However, under “tweets & replies” a man is asking about the WotD, and Pavillions responds: “Hello Glenn! Chobani Coffee Creamer is our WORD OF THE DAY! Thank you for reaching out to us!”
There is a Word of the Day item, and they haven’t removed posts. What they seem to have done is restricted your Facebook account from seeing them. Try logging in to someone else’s account.
I have two redundant FB accounts with random names that I only use for couponing and promotions. One of them is really obviously associated with ibotta, and I noticed a year or so ago that I mysteriously cannot see any of the Word of the Day posts on any Albertsons companies pages in their entire account history. Then I switch over to my other account that isn’t openly associated with couponing, and presto, all the Word of the Day posts are immediately visible. I’m not much of a FB user so not too sure what exactly they’re doing, but I think everyone knows by now that FB has about a million different options to restrict post access, block accounts and generally manipulate people in all sorts of underhanded ways.
