not sure I get the calculation, if it is normally 7.99, won’t bogo make it, 7.99 and 3.99 making it 11.98 for two, making it 23.96 for 4, how does it become 17.96 unless it is a true BOGO

I got 4 shadows but did not get the points. I went at 10 pm to the 24 hour store. The previous time though the deal worked for me. So I am not sure why this time not.
