I’m on vacation from Ibotta until Thursday but want to comment on the importance of following what Ms. B. says to do when she gives instructions.

She is saving you headaches and arguments when you get to the store. Walgreens is notorious for unclear pricing. It’s not just a question of an online price vs. a store price. A few weeks ago when I posted about a Mederma offer I walked into a store and was told 3 different prices by 3 different employees for the same item! So I simply left the store and made a mobile purchase so I could lock in exactly the price and offers. I don’t like drama at the cash register!

This happens less often at CVS (although they are also sneaky in sometimes putting online prices on their app which end up being higher in the store). An employee last week told me they will not match the online price (and obviously Walgreens doesn’t), but Target often will!
