Walgreens Update About the Digital Coupons

Yesterday, I posted about the Money Maker Crest Toothpaste & Mouthwash at Walgreens but a reader, Nick, wanted to warn us about activating the digital coupons that the Walgreens system will automatically use the first loaded coupon, therefore, if you clipped first that $1 Crest coupon, you will need to remove the lower value coupons.

To remove the lower value coupons go back into your account and click “My Coupons” and click remove.  Keep in mind that you will not be able add the back at a later date.

Thanks, Nick!

It’s my pleasure to help! I also noticed (in this particular store) that NONE of the CREST mouthwash was marked with a $2.99 markdown plus the buy 4 get $6 signage. So I went back and checked the original post where you indicated it was the 16.9 oz. bottle. All of these were marked $3.79! But I took a chance, snagged two and they indeed scanned $2.99 at the register AND helped qualify for the $6 RR. Wonder if the manager “conveniently” lost those tags showing the discount… 🤨

Nick, I noticed that allot of high volume stores are not good at tagging weekly deals. For example, my closest Walgreens is right off the freeway so they get lots of business and they are not so worried about tagging products but the Walgreens that’s 2 miles away, they always have their weekly deals tagged.
